For over 10 years, agro-food engineer Audrey had worked to develop organic dry food products (tea, dried fruit, herbs and spices). And for years, she had concocted and roasted her own combinations made with dried fruit enhanced with spices and seasonings: her homemade products met with great success with friends and family !
Loving life’s bounties and its shared moments of conviviality, and encouraged by her future business partner Estelle, Audrey set her heart on founding her own project. She started with a simple observation: almonds, crackers and other dried fruit for snacking were all fine and good, but organic offerings of these were scant and even then these products were often too sweet, salty, greasy, bland or loaded with additives.
On the strength of its success, Happy Hours has now overseen construction of an eco-design building in Biovallée in the French Drôme region. With spacious premises and an ergonomic production shop, the entire Happy Hours’ staff is moving forward with the same ingredients as at its start. Delicacy in taste, authentic in know-how, innovative recipes, and quality every step of the way !
